Fellowship: Wallenberg – NTU President Postdoctoral Fellowship

The Wallenberg - NTU Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship is funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation. It provides early-career scientists, engineers, and scholars from Singapore and worldwide with the opportunity to conduct independent research at NTU and a Wallenberg Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Systems and Software and Security Program (WASP) research partners institute in Sweden.

The Wallenberg-NTU Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship will be awarded to a diverse and select group of five individuals who have demonstrated the intellectual capacity and rigor to drive their research in the broad and multi-disciplinary areas of science and technology.

MEET Wallenberg-NTU Fellow


For the year spent in Sweden with a WASP research group,

 

• According to the WASP standard support for postdocs in Sweden, a yearly support package comprises salary, senior supervision, traveling, and other recurring expenditures.

• Collaboration with academic experts in science and engineering at WASP, Sweden's research partner institutes.

• Interaction with WASP graduate students and the WASP graduate school, as well as access to infrastructure in WASP-funded research fields.

Criteria for Eligibility

• Demonstrated intellectual excellence within five years of receiving a Ph.D. or equivalent degree

• Maturity and ability to start a career in independent research.

• A desire to grow as a future academic leader and the ability to do so.

• Applicants must present a well-thought-out and feasible research plan.

Be ready to join the position no later than December 31, 2021.
